The Southwold Music Trust, founded to make music central to Southwold and the surrounding community, is chosen as one of the Town Mayor’s two nominated charities in only its first year. The Southwold Concert Series are delighted to stage a special concert given by the Southend Boys and Girls Choirs, hosted by the Mayor, filling the church to capacity, and raising valuable funds for the Trust.

Other fundraising efforts include the selling at concerts and in the market place of the now renowned Southwold Concert Series jam and cakes – proceeds of which amount to a staggering £750 in one year!
