The Southwold Concert Series and Southwold Music Trust team up with Aldeburgh’s Jubilee Opera to present a concert by around 50 children from local primary schools. The concert features a fully-staged performance of Malcolm Williamson’s The Winter Star as well as a selection of instrumental music and song to celebrate the joy of singing and the excitement of Christmas, accompanied by professional musicians making up the Jubilee Opera Ensemble. The concert is conducted by the inspirational Dominic Peckham, who also gave workshops in Southwold Primary School in preparation for the event.
